Construction Supervisor
Construction Supervisor – Utility – Power Delivery (Transmission and Distribution)
Allentown, PA
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee contracted construction resources assigned to complete capital projects (installation of new facilities or upgrade / replacement of existing facilities)
 - Perform supervisory duties for substation electrician crews and overhead line crews
 - Perform supervisory duties for contractors serving on Distribution or Transmission system
 - CS is not to dictate “means and methods” to the contractor, but rather ensure that contractor’s chosen methods are safe and in accordance with regulatory requirements
 - CS is responsible to ensure a safe work environment and offer field support to contracted resources during execution.
- i.e. – help receive and deliver material; help coordinate outages and act as liaison between contractor and client resources; obtain drawings and prints; review engineering documents and identify risks/issues in scope or design
 
 - CS is responsible to support testing and commissioning activities and ensure acceptance of facility and asset commissioning tasks are completed and submitted to appropriate client personnel
 - CS should be on-site daily to visit with crews, provide oversight and demonstrate that client is committed to safety, accountability, and quality.
 - CS will validate field changes from a technical perspective to assist project team in addressing change requests.
 
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Prior utility experience is required
 - Lineman or substation electrician background is preferred
 - Demonstrated experience supervising or performing construction inside substations and on overhead lines
 - Basic MS Office Suite skills
 
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred, not required
 
Experience Level
- Significant field utility experience is required
 - Both T&D is preferred
 
Location and Work Environment
- Remote + hybrid – 4+ days per week in the field; occasional office days for staff meetings

Project Control Specialist
Project Control Specialist – Utility – Power Delivery (Transmission And Distribution)
COST ANALYST
SCHEDULER (P6)
Allentown, PA
Key Responsibilities
SCHEDULER:
- Manage day-to-day project schedules in Primavera P6
 - Conduct schedule variance analysis between current schedule and baseline dates
 - Support PM in progressing schedule through milestone-based governance life cycle
 - Run analytics reports documenting schedule related risks & variances
 - Proficient in Microsoft applications and able to run reports in excel, and manipulate associated dashboards and databases
 
COST ANALYST:
- Manage project cost on day-to-day basis
 - This includes updating forecasts for engineering, construction, and procurement activities and resources
 - Accept, review and process invoices and change orders
 - Contract management – ensure project costs for contracted resources are in accordance with PO terms
 - Prepare governance requests when total project forecast or annual project forecast have a variance to the approved budget
 - Be familiar and competent with accrual-based accounting – prepare monthly accruals for work performed but not invoiced; ensure follow-on invoices are applied correctly
 
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Schedulers must have P6 experience in construction industry projects, preferably utility
 - Cost Analysts must have demonstrated experience in managing, revising, and governing the cost components of construction projects
 
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
 
Experience Level
- 3+ years’ experience in detailed P6 or cost analyst role
 - Utility experience preferred, construction industry experience a must
 
Location and Work Environment
- Remote + hybrid – 2 to 3 days per week in the office; possibly TU – THU mandatory

Project Manager
Project Manager – Utility – Power Delivery (Transmission and Distribution)
Allentown, PA
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as staff augment Project Manager assigned to one of client’s power delivery departments in PA (Transmission or Distribution)
 - Assume responsibility of a project at initiation and execute through closeout
- Responsible to oversee project development activities (pre-design scope, schedule, and risk confirmation)
 - Responsible to oversee design phase (all facets of engineering – physical/electrical, protection & control, SCADA)
 - Responsible to oversee regulatory and permitting requirements – ROW, permitting, environmental (E&S, NPDES, etc), survey, customer engagement (where required)
 - Responsible for pre-execution planning:
- Establishment of construction resource (internal or contracted) and issue associated RFPs and PO’s
 - Outage oversight and support – ensure outages are submitted for in a timely manner in accordance with PUC and PJM requirements
 - Ensure material and procurement activities are in accordance with project schedule
 
 - Responsible for project execution:
- Day-to-day task and activity management of assigned construction resources
 - Accomplishment of in-service milestones and complete construction activities
 - Testing and commissioning
 
 - Responsible for closeout:
- Punchlists
 - Acceptance of facilities / asset commissioning
 - Administrative actions – place projects in-service, closeout financials and schedules
 
 
 - PM is not typically expected to perform any of the above functions, but rather manage and oversee the functional groups that own the responsibility
 - Develop and implement a schedule that coordinates all functional group activities in a manner that achieves the Scheduled In-Service (SIS) date and Required In-Service (RIS) date.
 
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Prior utility experience is preferred
 - Prior PM experience is a must – if no utility experience, then PM experience in a construction industry
 - Demonstrated experience in managing full life-cycle of projects (inception to close-out)
 - Demonstrated experience managing cost and schedule of the project (budget, forecast, variances, etc.)
 - Demonstrated experience overseeing critical functional groups (ROW, environmental, permitting, design, procurement) during project planning and project execution
 
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree required
 - PMP is preferred but not required
 
Experience Level
- Prior utility experience preferred but not required
