RTR’s Ryan Brazzo Earns MBA

RTR Energy Solutions is pleased and proud to share the news that on August 19th, 2017 our own Ryan Brazzo officially received his MBA from Point Park University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Ryan had previously earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Information Systems from Bloomsburg University.

Anyone who has earned a degree while working full time knows it can be particularly challenging and Ryan’s case is certainly no exception. He began work on his MBA in 2013 while living in the Pittsburgh area but took 2016 off from classes to make the move to the Lehigh Valley. In his words: “I don’t like to start things and not finish them, it was something that I needed to finish for myself“. The move necessitated attending classes on-line in the evenings and managing a full course workload while working full time and maintaining a home that includes two active dogs. While obtaining this degree Ryan participated in classes that dealt with managing a workforce such as: ethical leadership and sustainability, strategic planning, global business, managerial economics, and organizational behavior.

He also has aspirations beyond his MBA: “With this degree completed, I would like to continue my education further with a greater focus on project management.  I would like to earn my PMP and CAPM certifications next to help me advance my career in the project management field“.

Ryan joined the RTR team in January 2016 when he began providing Cost Analytics and Project Controls for multiple substation and transmission line projects and is now assisting Project Management on two substation rebuilds.
