Operation HELP
Each year RTR is involved in many charities and fundraisers from supporting fun runs to charity golf outings. On September 12, RTR participated in its 4th Operation HELP golf tournament.
PPL’s charity was created in 1983 to assist low-income families in paying their energy 
bills. Operation HELP allows income-eligible customers to apply for grants that help pay any type of energy bill. The grants go directly to the customer’s utility and community agencies across PPL Electric Utilities’ 29-county service area administer the program. Operation HELP is funded by PPL, their employees, retirees, generous customers and through funds raised in charitable events from golf outings to cookbook sales.
